VCE Environmental Science Revision Lecture - Saturday November 14th, 9:00am to 11:30am. Teaching Green - Hands on Learning Each of the three Teaching Green books is a complete "green" teaching resource for anyone working with young people in Elementary (K-10yrs), Middle (11-14) and High School (15-18). Each book contains over 50 of the best teaching strategies and activities contributed to Green Teacher over the last decade. The books cover a wide spectrum of environmental topics, from biodiversity to resource consumption to green technology. Prices are $42.00 for members or $48.00 for non-members. (Update: a new order has been placed with the Canadian publishers - we're awaiting delivery.) |
VAEE is looking to gather ideas from its members, and the public, on the role it plays in the environmental education spectrum, including the resources and services it provides.The recent annual conference highlighted the need for our organisation to remain relevent and beneficial in supplying educators with the skills and knowledge they need. Increasingly, the area of environmental education is seeing new organisations start-up and it's important that VAEE provides a unique and valuable platform to mebers and the wider-community. Possible starting points might be: VAEE would greatly appreciate if members, or even visitors to this site, took a few minutes to supply some feedback.
